Job Summary

Looking for a Launch Material Planner with ample experience to guide the introduction of new parts and engineering changes in their logistical operations. Based in Casa Grande, AZ, this role centers around ensuring seamless integration and coordination between the NPI programs, Material Planning teams, and external suppliers to meet demanding timelines. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal figure in handling engineering changes, analyzing BOM/MBOM for accuracy, and managing supplier performance to uphold OTIF standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate engineering changes and implementation timelines while ensuring material readiness for new models.
  • Analyze BOMs/MBOMs for SAP accuracy to support demand forecasting and supply chain efficiency.
  • Engage with suppliers to guarantee on‑time, in‑full delivery, mitigating any potential delays.
  • Oversee the evaluation and optimization of launch processes to ensure successful new model introductions.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration among internal stakeholders and communicate material data changes effectively throughout the organization.
Must‑Have Skills
  • Profound expertise in MRP/ERP systems, particularly SAP.
  • Strong background in New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a knack for data evaluation and clear communication.
Required Industry Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field, backed by 3‑5 years of experience in logistics, material planning, or supply chain within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
  • At least 2 years in a project management capacity, demonstrating an ability to oversee complex logistical tasks within a fast‑paced, automotive manufacturing environment.
