Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring an EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety operations at a high-purity chemical manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, AZ. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing EHS programs, and promoting a safe working environment across plant operations.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong EHS experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing environments.

Position: EHS Specialist
Location: Casa Grande, AZ (On-Site)
Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE

Responsibilities
  • Support and enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations
  • Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs
  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support compliance reporting
  • Provide EHS training and safety education to employees
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records, and reporting systems
  • Support hazardous waste management and vendor coordination
  • Assist with emergency response planning and drills
  • Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing compliance and safety improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance requirements
  • Experience with EHS program implementation and regulatory reporting
  • Ability to conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills across operations and leadership teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • EHS certifications (CSP, CIH, or similar)
  • Experience with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 systems
  • Experience with environmental permitting and compliance reporting
  • Experience managing multiple projects or cross-functional initiatives
