Job Posting
Responsible for integration, operation, and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems. Support establishing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) design principles, practices, implementations, documentation, and maintenance procedures. Drive adoption and optimization of advanced manufacturing technologies, including MES, ANDON systems, and Industry 4.0 automation initiatives. Utilize parametric data collected from the manufacturing line to drive continuous improvement initiatives, calculate yields, identify process bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
Drive reductions in manufacturing errors and improving the accuracy and efficiency of process data collection. Design and develop integration solutions that connect components including EoL test equipment related to Drive unit, Powertrain, Inverter, MPB, Battery Pack/Module, and third party products and internal systems to optimize operational efficiency. Resolve integration-related issues, collaborating with the stakeholders as needed to address their inquiries and concerns.
Design and develop interactive dashboards in Ignition/Tableau to empower end users in identifying and investigating production issues. Assist with defining the objectives of MES improvements, including developing and reviewing proposals and presentations. Work closely with manufacturing, line integrators, and vendors during installation/validation of MES. Ensure system uptime and backup for all MES (Hardware and Software) in the plant. Establish consistent metrics and data collection for continuous improvement.
Work closely with engineering to help report issues, lead project deliverables, and provide status and progress reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or relevant Engineering field and six months of experience in any occupation where experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems was gained. - Special

This position also requires education or experience in:
Operations Management Software;
Autodesk fusion; PLM software; 3D printing;
Process Optimization, Cycle Time improvement, error reduction, and scrap management;
Data Analytics Tools – Python, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power BI; SCADA Software:
Ignition, Iconics, Cimplicity or similar software
