What You’ll Work OnPlan, direct, and monitor all materials planning, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving activities to support the organization’s operational needs.
- Attract, develop and retain a diverse qualified staff through effective training, succession planning strategies and ongoing performance feedback.
- Manage the financial performance of the department according to planned budgets.
- Coordinate between functional site groups and division counterparts to ensure on‑time, on‑target supply of produced units.
- Manage site scheduling to balance customer needs, site priorities, financial targets, and warehouse constraints.
- Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, orders, master data and other documents to coordinate materials handling activities.
- Coordinate purchasing, receiving, and shipping support to all site departments, liaising with external stakeholders including third‑party suppliers and procurement.
- Oversee inventory control systems that track purchase orders, inventory levels, and production requirements.
- Maintain the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process over a 2‑year horizon to meet long‑term demand.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable business policies, laws and regulations, including FDA, OSHA, GMP, and company procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, operations or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, distribution or logistics.
- Proven people‑leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes and supply‑chain/inventory management systems such as MRP.
- APICS certification.
