As a Registered Nurse supporting the Endoscopy team at Banner Casa Grande, you will work with a dedicated staff to provide quality patient care. You will apply clinical expertise, conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, and execute critical nursing interventions for all patient populations.

• This position may float to other areas within the peri‑anesthesia department, including PAT, Pre‑op, PACU, and Endoscopy.

Core Functions
  • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs; review history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to the physician.
  • Formulate a comprehensive plan of care including the discharge plan based on assessment data and patient, family, and team input; develop realistic, measurable goals.
  • Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the healthcare team; provide care per physician orders and nursing plan; delegate and supervise other nurses and staff.
  • Evaluate the patient’s and family’s response to care and teaching; revise the plan of care as needed based on patient progress.
  • Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record; ensure documentation is legible, timely, and compliant with policy.
  • Provide evidence‑based care; participate in research activities and unit/shared leadership; engage in education, orientation, and mentoring of staff, patients, and families.
  • Contribute to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes and participate in national nursing quality improvement initiatives and professional organizations.
  • When required, supervise staff and workflow within the department.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice (or temporary/interim RN license or compact RN licensure).
    • BLS certification required.
    • Minimum of one year experience as an RN in an acute‑care hospital setting within the past 12 months (or equivalent experience in the specialty area).
    • Additional certifications or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Professional certification preferred.
    • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
