Established in 1984, Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is a full-service, non-profit, hospital committed to providing quality health care to the Casa Grande Valley as well as the surrounding areas in a caring and compassionate environment. This facility offers a 28-bed
** Progressive Care
** with a patient-centered, family-oriented core staff caring for a variety of medical, surgical and cardiac patients. The PCU has the capacity to monitor up to 75 patients facility-wide via remote telemetry and is supported by a centralized telemetry monitoring station.

As a
** Registered Nurse with the PCU**, you will play a key role in managing the health of our population by working collaboratively and proactively to ensure coordinated patient care.  Competitive wage and comprehensive benefit package. 18% night shift differential and weekend $3/hour flat-rate differential when applicable. With this position, you will work 3-12 hour night shifts from 7:00PM-7:30AM. This unit utilizes self-scheduling with potential adjustments as directed by unit needs. Required weekends and holidays per grouping and rotation.

POSITION SUMMARY  This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS  
1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
