Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct product testing in accordance with internal procedures and customer specifications.
- Perform mechanical property and non-destructive testing, including NDT Level 2 Eddy Current testing.
- Inspect finished goods and in-process material to ensure conformance to company and customer requirements.
- Audit production processes and workstations for adherence to the Quality Management System.
- Support investigation and resolution of material quality issues and non-conformances.
- Assist with external lab testing, sample preparation, and reporting.
- Initiate and track corrective action requests for policy or quality violations.
- Maintain calibration logs and manage calibration schedule for all applicable equipment.
- Review and maintain documentation such as mill schedules, inspection records, and inventory reports.
- Prepare quality reports and support filing and documentation processes.
- Provide coverage for administrative tasks during vacations or absences within the department.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with other departments on quality-related issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or leadership team.
- 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with QMS (Quality Management Systems) preferred.
- Certified or qualified as an NDT Level 2 Eddy Current Tester (required).
- Prior manufacturing experience required.
- Experience with metals or materials testing strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and quality documentation.
- Proficiency with business systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital reporting tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn and comprehend basic machine operations.
