Field Quality Engineer II – Customer Warranty & Electrical Infotainment

The RoleThe Field Quality Engineer II supports quality improvement initiatives across vehicle programs by identifying, investigating, and resolving customer-impacting quality concerns. This position will support Customer Warranty and Electrical Infotainment systems, utilizing warranty data, vehicle diagnostics, customer feedback, and quality investigations to identify emerging issues, improve vehicle performance, and reduce customer-impacting defects.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related STEM field.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive quality, manufacturing, engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Working knowledge of vehicle systems, defect analysis, and quality control methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt), Shainin Red X, or similar quality disciplines.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods including process capability studies, trend analysis, and DOE.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and job‑related communications.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical discipline.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with hardware change management processes.
- Knowledge of ISO/IATF standards, APQP, PPAP, and launch quality processes.
- Experience supporting customer warranty investigations and field quality analysis.
- Experience supporting electrical systems or infotainment systems.
- CAD experience including CATIA and/or 3DX.
This role is based onsite in Casa Grande, AZ. Travel up to 25% may be required, including occasional short‑notice travel.
