Facility Specialist
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Facility Specialist for our Casa Grande, AZ team.
As a Facility Chemist, you will manage hazardous and chemical waste programs on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include waste characterization, consolidation, packing, shipping, and training on chemical safety and waste management. Your role will require strong attention to detail and effective collaboration with facility management on tasks such as RCRA and DOT compliance, technical services, transportation, and waste disposal coordination.
This position offers hands-on experience across various waste management areas.

This position reports to Plant Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Casa Grande, AZ.
Essential responsibilities:
Develop the knowledge and experience to manage a permitted facilityUnderstand facility permit and local governing agency expectations for waste managementAssist with general facility compliance including performing daily/weekly/monthly compliance checks, training, SOP implementation/review, and process reviewAssist with general facility operations including serving as management if the Plant Manager is not availableConsolidate waste according to permits, disposal facility requirements, and customer preferencesBuild loads for outbound transportationAssist with waste determinations/profile management and laboratory operationsCoordinate outbound shipments- setting up deliveries, scheduling transporters, etc.Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices, and EPA regulationsDemonstrate your supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkersWork towards becoming familiar with technical, customer service, and business components of environmental servicesWork with computerized waste tracking systemsUpon completion of emergency response (ER) training, you will be part of an in-house ER teamThis position also includes the daily need to lift items that weigh up to 75 poundsThis is a safety sensitive positionBasic Requirements:
BS/BA in Environmental Science or Business-related degree required OR 2+ years of industry, or relative Military experienceValid driver’s license in good standingAbility to work as a member of a team as well as individuallyExcellent customer service skills and ability to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel preferredPersonality conducive to teamworkStrong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills preferredMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorshipMust have a reliable form of transportationMust be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environmentMust be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basisAbility to work overtime on a regular basisMust be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shiftsThe Facility Specialist frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.Preferred Requirements:
