Job Description and FunctionsUnder the guidance of a supervisor, this position provides comprehensive administrative and program support to ensure efficient division operations and responsive customer service. The role assists with preparing and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and performs a wide range of moderate to complex operational duties.
Responsibilities include scanning and indexing documents, supporting child support processes, processing faxes, and managing all Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits mail. The position processes incoming continued claims, sets applicable issues, codes and updates returned mail, and maintains accurate records.
The incumbent responds verbally and in writing to requests for information, assists claimants and other external customers, and provides a variety of administrative support services such as claimant verifications, drafting memos, mailing checks, and retrieving patch sheets from scanned documents.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering professional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

QualificationsPreference may be given to those with Customer Service experience in phone and email correspondence. Preference may be given to those with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word experience.
Knowledge of techniques for providing a high level of customer service. Ability to be a team player. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's Degree (typically in Business)
Experience:
0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Assistant II OR 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Assistant II
