As our Office Scheduler, you are the critical link between these customers and our team of skilled craftsmen. This part-time role is the heartbeat of our local office. If you enjoy helping people, solving scheduling puzzles, and keeping things organized, this position offers a stable, supportive environment where your work directly impacts our daily success.
WhatSuccess Looks Like
On a day-to-day level, success means being the warm, helpful voice on the phone. You will listen to customers describe their home repair needs, help determine how much time their projects will take, and schedule them with the right craftsman. You will keep our team's calendars organized so they can focus on doing great work without unnecessary travel or downtime.
Over time, success in this role means building trust with our local clients, resulting in repeat business and positive reviews. You will become highly efficient with our dispatch software, helping us optimize our daily operations and keep our business growing smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Answer inbound phone calls and respond to online service inquiries from homeowners.
- Listen to customer needs, ask clarifying questions, and estimate the time required for various home repair tasks.
- Schedule jobs and dispatch craftsmen using our proprietary online scheduling system.
- Communicate clearly with craftsmen regarding their daily schedules, job details, and customer expectations.
- Conduct follow-up calls with customers to ensure they are highly satisfied with our work.
- Assist with light administrative duties to keep the office running smoothly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm, professional phone presence.
- Strong organizational skills and a natural attention to detail.
- Comfort learning and using digital tools, including scheduling software, email, and basic office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in an office environment.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure.
- Prior experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, or office administration.
- A basic understanding of common home improvement, repair, or maintenance tasks (which helps when estimating job times).
This is a part-time, in-office position located at our Casper, WY office. We offer a consistent, daytime schedule during normal business hours. We are happy to discuss specific hours and shift availability during the interview process to find a schedule that works well for both of us.
