Job Details

We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Superintendent to join our team. This role is perfect for a self‑starter with a robust understanding of the construction industry, specifically in healthcare projects. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the entire construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, ensuring that the project is completed within time and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

Oversee all stages of the project life cycle and coordinate all construction activities.

Read and understand complex building plans, specifications, and details.

Ensure that the project is constructed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.

Maintain a complete set of updated construction drawings as a permanent record.

Manage on‑site construction activities to ensure that they are completed on schedule and within budget.

Coordinate and direct the construction team and all subcontractors.

Work closely with the project team to maintain the project schedule and ensure that all project objectives are met.

Implement and maintain safety standards and quality control measures.

Conduct regular meetings with the project team and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of directly related experience or a high school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of directly related experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare projects.

Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and other project management software.

Solid understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, and life‑cycle costing.

Proven ability to manage on‑site construction activities effectively.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of safety and health standards and regulations in the construction industry.
