What You'll Do:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, code compliance forecasting, resource allocation, and subcontractor management.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts; monitor expenditures and authorized costs within approved limits.
  • Review design documents, estimates, and project proposals to identify requirements, risks, and deliverables.
  • Update and/or refine estimates as design and scope evolve, ensuring alignment with the approved budget and project goals.
  • Serve as an Owner's Representative by advocating for the owner's interests throughout design and construction, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Review and recommend approval of contractor and subcontractor pay applications, change orders, and other contractual documents.
  • Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and field supervisors.
  • Manage and resolve project issues, changes, and delays proactively.
  • Lead project meetings, prepare status reports, and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Support bid preparation and assist with vendor and subcontractor selection.
  • Perform detailed job costing, tracking labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses against the budget, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and analyze job cost reports to support forecasting, cash flow planning, and project profitability reviews.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders; by facilitating decisions, managing expectations, and supporting a smooth project close-out and turnover.
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams and oversight of consultants, vendors, third parties, and contractors, related to the projects they are managing.
What We're Looking For:

Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in related business field with ten (10) years of progressive construction management experience or active General Contractor's License with applicable years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong local vendor partnerships.
  • Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing capital budgets
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with construction management software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Must live in or relocate to central Wyoming.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
