2 positions available — Part-Time. Shift includes nights and weekends. The Casper Ice Arena is looking for Customer Service Stars to be the heartbeat of our front-line team.

Required ResponsibilitiesIncumbents are responsible for providing courteous customer service associated with point-of-sale systems, class registrations, memberships, passes, basic clerical duties, and other related work as required.
Knowledge, Abilities & Skills- Knowledge
:
Receptionist and customer service principles; cashiering and mathematical calculations; record keeping. - Abilities
:
Work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays; learn cashiering methods and procedures; learn cash register operation; follow City safety rules and procedures; facilitate visitor and customer traffic; respond to inquiries and requests; maintain attention to detail amid interruptions; handle multiple customers; operate general facility layout knowledge; organize/prioritize tasks; operate modern office equipment and software; maintain a neat, professional appearance;
communicate effectively; follow written and verbal instructions; establish and maintain working relationships. - Skills
:
Cashiering and mathematical calculations; record keeping; conflict resolution; operation of modern office equipment/software; courteous, knowledgeable, and tactful customer interactions; oral communication sufficient to exchange information and receive direction.
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred
- First Aid/CPR preferred
- Six months experience in a public setting providing customer service preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age, preferably 18 years of age or older

Environmental Conditions:
City of Casper employees in data creation/modification or safety positions may be subject to pre-employment drug testing. Some roles may require random drug testing based on duties listed, such as emergency response, hazardous materials, CDL operations, or work with minors. Positions typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
Incumbents work indoors in a front desk/counter environment and are exposed to typical office noises, with frequent sitting, typing, and direct customer contact.
