Job DescriptionThis position comprises 4 hours Office and Records, 3 hours Cafeteria Technician, and 1 hour Education Support Personnel. Pay rates are:
- Office and Records: $18.36/hr – $23.57/hr
- Cafeteria Technician: $16.91/hr – $21.42/hr
- Education Support Personnel: $17.36/hr – $22.11/hr

- Adapt classroom activities, assignments and/or materials to accommodate different learning levels and functional limitations.
- Assist BEST, FLS, APE, ABLE, or Work Study students with classroom and daily living skills (e.g., toileting, diapering, tube feeding).
- Support certified staff in implementing and supervising instructional activities for academic and behavioral skills.
- Communicate with teachers, students, parents, district personnel, and community agencies to provide progress information.
- Maintain instructional materials and student files/records, including incident reports, discipline records, attendance, and equipment setups.
- Monitor students in school environments to model appropriate behaviors and provide safe learning environments.
- Provide positive reinforcement to support student goal achievement.
- Respond to emergencies and potential conflicts, de‑escalate behaviors, and ensure safety.
- Transport students as requested to maintain safe transport.
- Arrange food service setup, assist with special events, maintain kitchen hygiene, collect payments, evaluate food quality, inspect supplies, inventory items, monitor student choices, serve meals, report equipment malfunctions, respond to inquiries, and stock supplies.
Education: High school graduation or GED.
Certificates & Licenses: Highly qualified.
Certification: Food Handlers/Serv Safe Certificate by NRA within one year of hire.

Note: The listed hourly rate is a proposed increase pending Board approval in July 2026.
