About Us
Are you ready to be part of a team that is bringing revolutionary technology to the remediation industries?
DISA Technologies is revolutionizing mineral recovery with our patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) technology—an innovative solution that upgrades critical minerals from mined ore and legacy waste. Serving both the mining and remediation sectors, we recover valuable resources that power industry, strengthen energy independence, and restore contaminated sites to productive use. Our technology unlocks economic and environmental value, transforming how the world processes, remediates, and recycles essential mineral assets.
Job SummaryThe Senior Mechanical Engineer is a technical leader responsible for the architecture, integrity, and performance of DISA’s HPSA mechanical systems from concept through commercial deployment. This role provides subject-matter expertise in high-wear, high-pressure process equipment and leads mechanical design strategy, scale-up, and reliability engineering initiatives. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will serve as a mentor to junior engineers, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure mechanical systems meet performance, safety, manufacturability, and cost targets.
This position plays a critical role in advancing DISA’s commercialization roadmap, ensuring robust, field‑ready systems that perform reliably in demanding mining and remediation environments. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic start‑up environment, wearing multiple hats and contributing to many areas of business development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, product development, and field deployment, preferably in mining, oilfield services, process equipment, heavy industrial systems, or related industries.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects, mentoring team members, and managing technical deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
VP of Engineering, unless otherwise designated.
