Consumer Loan Processor

The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for supporting the consumer lending process by preparing, reviewing, and processing loan documentation while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. This position works closely with lenders, branch personnel, and customers to facilitate timely loan closings and funding.

• Process consumer loan applications from approval through closing and funding.
• Prepare and review loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with lenders, branch staff, and customers to obtain required documentation.
• Review loan files for completeness and resolve documentation deficiencies.
• Ensure loan files are properly maintained and imaged according to established procedures.
• Assist with loan boarding, funding, and post-closing activities.
• Provide prompt, professional service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer lending regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous banking, lending, loan processing, or related financial services experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
