- Serve clients by accurately and efficiently handling deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other banking transactions.
- Deposit and cash checks in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to cross-sell appropriate bank products and services.
- Complete ATM balancing and other daily balancing responsibilities accurately and timely.
- Assist with daily teller operations and serve as a resource to other tellers by providing guidance and support as needed.
- Demonstrate sound risk management practices, including strong awareness of fraud prevention, security procedures, and robbery guidelines.
- Help ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Identify and address transaction discrepancies and escalation issues appropriately.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with clients and coworkers.
- Support a positive, collaborative team environment and contribute to the overall success of the branch.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous banking or teller experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of teller procedures, cash handling, and transaction processing.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn and utilize banking systems.
- Ability to produce accurate work while working efficiently and managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound judgment and ability to recognize and appropriately escalation potential risks, fraud, or unusual transactions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability and willingness to assist, support, and provide guidance to other team members.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and a high level of service.
