Description and FunctionsOpen until filled.
General description:
To support, educate, and assist vendors, taxpayers, and local governments regarding the correct assessments of Wyoming taxes and to ensure the collection of those taxes through compliance.

Essential functions include delivering new licenses and educational material to new vendors, reviewing new vendor business models, meeting with vendors who have questions, arranging payment plans, ensuring temporary events are set up for tax collection, conducting cigarette inspections, investigating business activities, and traveling to various vendors within a tri-county area.
QualificationsPreferences/Agency Requirements:
Must have a current valid driver's license. Knowledge of State statutes as they pertain to Excise and applicable taxes. Knowledge of teaching techniques.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Finance) or 4-6 years of work experience (typically in Tax Examination) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Tax Examiner.
Special Requirements
Physical working conditions include some days in an office environment, some days driving to various locations, and tri-county travel is required.
