The position is responsible for processing patient account billing and payer reimbursement. The Billing Specialist provides outstanding customer service that includes, but not limited to, patients, guarantors, providers, health insurance providers, third party liability companies, etc.
Responsibilities- Process patient account billing and payer reimbursement.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, guarantors, providers, health insurance providers, third party liability companies, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Extensive experience and/or training in the billing arena, including experience in healthcare billing, credit, credentialing, and collections with emphasis on customer service and finance, is required.
