Implementation Engineer

Do you love solving tricky problems, digging into the details, and making sure things “just work” the way they’re supposed to? Flowstate is looking for an Implementation Engineer to help us bring our customer solutions to life.
In this role, you’ll be the person who makes sure that the unique solutions we build for our customers actually do what they’re meant to do. That means running acceptance tests, writing up clear reports, troubleshooting, and working across teams to figure out where things need to be improved. The Implementation Engineer will collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, investigate and resolve issues, and ensure that all solutions meet customer requirements and quality standards.

• Plan & execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for leak-detection solutions.
• Analyze customer implementations (dashboards, alarm metrics) to recommend solution improvement or workflow changes that maximize leak-detection performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during solution implementation, providing customer-facing support when necessary to answer technical questions or resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, reports, and documentation.
• Identify software defects, provide detailed reports (bugs), and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on solution requirements.
• Maintain high-quality standards through rigorous testing, reporting, and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, test methods, and product/solution development.

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (STEM field preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with issue tracking and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Two or more (2+) years of experience in implementation, field engineering, or systems integration, preferably in oil & gas, utilities, or industrial IoT
• Familiarity with pipeline systems, leak detection technologies, or real-time monitoring solutions
• Familiarity with SaaS environments and enterprise software deployments is highly desirable
