Senior Business Analyst – SAP Finance

Location:

Pleasanton, CA or Plano, TX. Full-time, exempt.

• Configure, lead, and govern SAP Finance solutions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, Fixed Assets, new General Ledger, Cost Elements, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Profit Center Accounting.
• Own configuration, optimization, and governance of all SAP FI/CO modules.
• Implement best‑practice solutions that align with global business objectives.
• Lead business requirements discovery and translate complex needs into enterprise‑ready SAP solution designs.
• Make functional design decisions, guide system enhancements, and manage upgrades and enhancements across SAP and integrated applications.
• Develop and oversee end‑user training materials.
• Lead or manage medium‑sized SAP projects and work streams with minimal oversight.
• Oversight of external partners and vendors, enforce design standards, and ensure solution quality and documentation.
• Contribute to IT systems strategy, SAP roadmap decisions, and data governance initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Required SAP certification in FI and/or CO modules.
• 7+ years of SAP FI/CO experience with hands‑on configuration and solution ownership.
• 7+ years of experience delivering SAP solutions in complex ECC and/or S/4
  
  HANA landscapes.
• 5+ years translating complex business requirements into enterprise SAP solution designs.
• 5+ years supporting or leading global finance processes in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or contributing to multiple full‑cycle SAP implementations.
• Experience with One Source Tax and complex tax integrations, preferred.
• Deep SAP FI/CO configuration expertise and understanding of SAP finance architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience designing scalable, enterprise‑grade SAP solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP landscape design, implementation methodologies, and governance models.
• Strong project management skills: managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior business and IT leaders and engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Preferred: SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance experience.

The role requires frequent sitting, talking, and hearing; occasional walking and standing; and occasionally lifting or pushing up to 25 lbs. The work environment is a standard professional office setting utilizing computers, phones, printers, and scanners.

Domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time.

Annual salary range: $93,400 – $190,600. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, employee stock purchase plans, bonuses, holidays, vacation, sick days, and various employee programs.
