Drill Bit Repair Technician

Join NOV in Casper, WY, as a Drill Bit Repair Technician supporting our Reed Hycalog business unit. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on mechanical skills to enter or grow in the energy sector. You'll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment performing essential repair and maintenance on drill bits. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement are available.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Support the repair and maintenance of drill bits used in energy operations.

* Assist with production processes and equipment servicing.

* Follow safety and quality standards at all times.

Job Duties:

* Use off-hand die grinders, blast equipment, and pressure washers to clean and prep parts.

* Assist senior technicians with repairs and servicing procedures.

* Operate OD or centerless grinders to finish surfaces.

* Apply paint and inspect nozzle fit and alignment.

* Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate service records.

* Follow all safety protocols and work instructions.

Education &

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED is preferred.

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical repair, mechanical assembly, or equipment repair preferred.

* Basic knowledge of power tools, grinders, and shop equipment

* Flexibility to work shifts as assigned (may include evenings/weekends)
