Overview
Serve Wyoming enhances communities and empowers citizens through the development and promotion of service opportunities. The organization fosters collaboration among non‑profit, governmental, and community partners to strengthen volunteerism and address poverty across Wyoming. Located in Casper, the mission supports organizations addressing poverty through volunteer engagement, capacity building and Ameri Corps programming. The VISTA Leader role provides the opportunity for former national service members to support VISTA members nationwide, assisting with onboarding, peer support, resource development, and professional development while strengthening systems that support sustainable volunteer engagement and poverty alleviation.
Responsibilities- Coordinate onboarding resources and facilitate peer learning opportunities for VISTA members.
- Develop toolkits, templates, and volunteer engagement resources that support VISTA member success.
- Research and create outreach strategies, analyze volunteer utilization data, and strengthen long‑term volunteer management systems.
- Identify funding opportunities, develop sustainability and fundraising resources, and support partnership and recognition activities.
- Build sustainable infrastructure to enable host organizations to expand access to volunteers, resources, and programs that improve economic opportunity and reduce poverty statewide.
