Position Overview
Casper Mountain Rehab is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through direct resident care, clinical support, and collaboration within a skilled nursing environment.
In this position, you will provide hands‑on nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and play a key role in monitoring resident health to ensure timely and high‑quality outcomes. You will work closely with Registered Nurses, CNAs, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, compassionate, and person‑centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct nursing services in accordance with individualized care plans, physician orders, and established clinical protocols
- Conduct ongoing assessments of resident condition, documenting findings and reporting changes promptly to the appropriate members of the care team
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with scope of practice and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and optimal clinical outcomes
- Provide education and guidance to residents and families regarding care plans, medications, and overall health management
- Supervise and direct CNAs and support staff to ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with established standards
- Complete accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Participate in infection prevention, quality improvement, and resident safety initiatives
- Respond appropriately to urgent or emergent situations using sound clinical judgment and established procedures
- Maintain compliance with professional standards, confidentiality requirements, and all applicable federal and state regulations
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the State of Wyoming
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, resident‑centered care across a range of clinical conditions and acuity levels
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Effective critical thinking and decision‑making abilities
