Incumbents are responsible for performing tasks involved in the general maintenance of a seasonal operation primarily outside of a recreation facility with routine manual labor work.
REPORTING STRUCTURE- Customer service principles.
- Basic principles of health and sanitation standards.
- Proper use of basic manual tools.
- Work a variety of shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
- Be flexible with changing assignments.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and direction.
- Walk, dig trenches, climb ladders and clean-up work sites in a neat and orderly fashion (if applicable to assignment).
- Safely operate and handle equipment and supplies.
- Work around pesticides and in landscapes.
- Communicate effectively.
- Learn general layout of facility to provide assistance to patrons.
- Perform basic math when assigned.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Follow all City safety rules and procedures and immediately report all accidents/incidents or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Basic math.
- Operating in a courteous, knowledgeable and tactful manner with staff and general public.
- No previous training or experience required.
- First Aid/CPR preferred.
- Must be at least 16 years of age. If less than 18 years of age, cannot operate motorized equipment on public roadways in accordance with minor labor restrictions.
- Possession of a valid Wyoming Driver’s License preferred.
