Sales Associate

Job Opportunity

We're seeking outgoing, helpful associates to welcome and assist customers with their projects while working in a fast-paced and fun environment. We have an ingrained culture of respect for each other and our customers, and we strive to make a positive impact in our local community through store events and consistently helpful service. Previous hardware experience is a plus but not a requirement, as we provide extensive training for both onboarding and beyond.

Our Sales Associates embody excellent customer service while assisting in the receiving and stocking of all merchandise and working to maintain a clean, inviting, and orderly appearance of our products and store as a whole. Our mission is to go the extra mile for our customers through outstanding service and keep them coming back for all of their hardware needs.

Requirements

• High School or GED equivalent
  • Standing, walking, lifting (up to 40lbs)
  • Pre Employment Drug Test

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide a positive representation of CY Ace Hardware
• Proactively assist customers in finding products and solving problems
• Greet all entering customers and thank them as they exit the store
• Ensure all phone calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively
• Forward customer complaints to management as necessary
• Possess strong knowledge of products and their locations
• Create a positive, professional, and safe work environment
• Receive, stock, and face merchandise throughout the store
• Assist with daily maintenance of the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area
• Provide assistance with price changes, special orders, and other specialized tasks
• Maintain current signage throughout the store

Experience

Formal retail experience preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $11.00-$14.00
