Director of National Account Sales
The Director of National Account Sales is a pivotal role responsible for building an opportunity pipeline and driving revenue growth with enterprise-level corporate brands, nationwide franchise systems, and large property management. This role supports both Conserva Irrigation and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives and their franchise owners in commercial sales to target markets. The Director builds a sales strategy, expands relationships with key national accounts, and implements strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Sales- Develop and implement sales strategies to secure and grow key national accounts, meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with decision-makers within national and regional accounts.
- Engage with industry in desired markets to identify new business opportunities and requests for proposal (RFP), supporting bids at the local and national level.
- Craft and present tailored proposals and sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Lead contract negotiations with national accounts, securing favorable agreements.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and ensure compliance.
- Work with the Brand Operations team to ensure smooth implementation of new accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer account management matters.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with clients and franchise owners.
- Build strong professional relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Partner with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to align efforts and deliver seamless account management.
- Provide actionable feedback to the brand team based on client needs and market insights.
- Create and deliver regular reports on sales performance, account health, and market conditions to senior leadership.
- Provide strategic insight and recommendations to the Brand President.
- Share monthly results and metrics across key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 5–12 years of national account sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Proven ability to build and grow a book of business from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through close.
- Experience selling into industries such as Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Home Owner Associations (HOA), commercial property management groups, landscape management companies, multi‑unit franchise associations, etc.
- Identify regional and national trade groups and relevant networking events to prospect across targeted channels.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management tools.
- Excellent time management, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid understanding of market trends and customer behaviors.
- Willingness to travel up to 30–50 %.
- Experience in irrigation, green industries, or commercial/residential service product sales is highly desirable.
