Overview

Position:
Workday Public HCM Solutions Sales Executive  role supports Public Sector Sales Executives by selling Strada’s HCM & Payroll Administration outsourcing services to Workday’s prospect & customer base in a designated geographic territory. Strada is a people, payroll, and technology leader simplifying international workforce management and operates in 180+ countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve individual sales goals for HCM/FIN services in the public sector and related solutions.
  • Assist in setting and executing the sales strategy for the assigned territory and help develop a sales plan targeting organizations with likely opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Workday Sales team to gain referrals and drive pipeline growth of new opportunities.
  • Review incoming RFPs to determine viability of pursuit, overall scope, and potential payroll opportunities.
  • Review Sales Associate (SA) RFP responses to ensure Strada’s response is correct, relevant, and positions Strada effectively.
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence on products/services and incorporate it into the sales client planning process.
  • Effectively utilize the lead generation team and other sales support resources at appropriate stages of the selling process.
  • Craft and present client offers and help the team identify and navigate alternative paths to closing the sale.
  • Manage and maximize the client-level cost of sale.
  • Provide input on pricing decisions to sell Strada’s value at the highest possible profit margin.

  • Sales

    Skills:

    excellent consultative selling, pipeline management, negotiation, and close‑out of opportunities; ability to sell value over price.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: broad knowledge of HR, payroll, and benefits outsourcing strategies, delivery models, and solutions; thorough understanding of Strada products and services.
  • Relationship Management: build strong relationships at multiple client levels, including the C‑suite, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Communication and Project Management: manage multiple large, complex sales processes simultaneously; strong internal and external communication skills; active listening and clear instructions.
  • Team Leadership: role model for colleagues, proactive teamwork, and sharing best practices to overcome obstacles.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:

    7–10 years of direct selling experience with proven success in HR, payroll, or benefits outsourcing; experience leading large, complex sales into organizations with over 5,000 employees.
