Automotive Counter Sales Representative

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for an Automotive Counter Sales Representative position. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy customer service, sales, and the automotive industry.

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with automotive parts inquiries and product selection
• Process cash, credit card, and other sales transactions accurately
• Use electronic and paper catalog systems to locate parts and provide up-to-date product information
• Explain product features, benefits, warranties, and related services to customers
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment
• Support store operations as needed, including stocking and organization

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous automotive parts experience or general automotive knowledge preferred
• ASE certification is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/catalog systems
• Flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Sales and customer service experience
• Cash handling and transaction processing
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

$17.00 to $17.50 per hour
