Security Officer

Security Officers are responsible for patrolling and inspecting the property against illegal activities. The Security Officer reports any issues or concerns to the Site Manager immediately.

• Safeguard property against fire, enforce property laws and deter all types of criminal activity.
• Respond to all emergencies, providing assistance using CPR, AED, and first aid care, and communicate patient care to responding medical personnel.
• Transport and protect company assets when needed.
• Investigate and document all incidents as required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and enforce all policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of personal integrity.
• Show friendly, courteous, and polite behavior to internal and external guests at all times.
• Pay full attention to guests and take ownership of opportunities to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Generate necessary written reports regarding incidents involving guests, employees, or the facility.
• Act as a dispatcher during emergency situations and coordinate solutions.
• Operate company vehicles as directed.
• Ensure safe transportation of company money and assist in opening and closing.
• Maintain or escort keys and access locked areas as necessary.
• Accept identification from persons under 30 to ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Escort patrons and employees to their vehicles as necessary.
• Perform regular foot patrols of the facility.
• Identify unsafe conditions or suspicious activity and inform management immediately.
• Occasionally review surveillance when requested.
• Follow and understand the security standard operating procedures.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Site Manager or Supervisor.

• Must be 21 or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in law enforcement or gaming security preferred.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects.
• Occasionally required to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Must be able to pass background check and drug screen. Salary starts at $15.00 per hour.
