Floor Hands are part of a 3‑5 person work crew responsible for assigned casing functions to ensure continuous production consistent with established Company standards. The Floor Hand position involves significant physical labor such as rigging up and down, pulling/laying down drill pipe and casing. Major responsibilities include general maintenance and cleaning, checking the rig and equipment, and assisting in casing installation.

• Available to work 24/7.
• Must have reliable transportation. Driver's license incentivized.
• Must pass pre‑employment and random drug testing.

• Repetitively climb steep stairs and lift and carry 50 pounds independently up and down the stairs and/or on uneven surfaces.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and twist throughout the work shift.
• Lift and place slips weighing up to 150 to 250 pounds with two other crew members during pipe installation.
• Stay alert and focused while performing repetitive and routine activities.
• Heavy repetitive exertion throughout the installation of pipe.
• Understand the process and procedures for using casing handling tools and identify proper use and hand placement.
• Judge near and far distances to maintain awareness of and report ongoing work activities to crew members and third parties.
• Maintain spatial orientation and awareness to safely move around work environment with many moving objects.
• Demonstrate clear communication skills and the ability to follow written and oral directions promptly and correctly.
• Work effectively and communicate in a work environment that may be noisy.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and at remote locations.
• Walk / work on various ground conditions, limited work spaces & uneven surfaces.
• Use and/or wear personal protective equipment at all designated times.
• Good manual dexterity and multi‑limb coordination.
• Excellent physical and mental stamina.
• Lift, push, pull or carry objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
• Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Report any traffic citations to management within 24 hours.

• Assist in ensuring all pre‑job checks are conducted and the full equipment package is ready for the job.
• Attend and participate in a pre‑job briefing with field crew prior to traveling to the rig site.
• Effectively and clearly communicate with mentor/crew pusher and/or tool pusher to ensure all oil rig acceptance criteria for the installation have been met.
• Work as crew member during the actual installation of casing under supervision of a designated mentor (SSE).
• Assist with safe rig up and operation of equipment in accordance with company procedures and customer instructions.
• Understand and follow all protocol, ensuring all other personnel onsite conduct operations safely.
• Assist in rigging up and down, pulling/laying down drill pipe and casing and perform general maintenance, cleaning, and inspection.
• Communicate with senior members of the team to ensure proper placement of conventional tools and equipment.
• Report all safety issues and incidents to immediate supervisor.
• Support other crew members by carrying supplies, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and other additional tasks as assigned.

At times the employee may be asked to perform shop work, clerical work, light housekeeping duties in the shop, office, yard and vehicles. Also attend and/or host safety meetings or task training, and may be qualified to do yard, shop or job site safety inspections. If qualified as a company driver may be asked to do driver training and road tests.

Also may have to fulfill dispatch, office or other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Must actively participate in SSE Program and all safety programs. Report near misses and incidents to supervisor. Respect, care, and maintain all tools and equipment. Use Stop Work Authority and intervene when there is a question about safety. Train/mentor/coach new SSE employees when qualified. Follow all TRK Enterprises policies, rules and standards. Inquire from mentor or supervisor if any policy, rule, standard or job task is unclear.
