** Body Shop Apprentice Technician
** As a Body Shop Apprentice Technician you will be responsible for performing automotive repairs such as disassembling and reassembling services in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer, and insurance standards.

** Responsibilities:
*** Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer and insurance standards.
* Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
* Verify that all parts required on a collision repair are accounted for and accurate.
* Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
* Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.
* Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
* Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
* Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
* Maintain up-to-date proficiency by attending training on the latest repair techniques and materials as needed.

* Qualifications:

*** Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Active Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate
* Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
* Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time
* Frame Equipment Knowledge – have working knowledge of frame equipment
* Attention to detail
* Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
