Job Summary

Loenbro is looking for Licensed Journeyman Electricians in the Glenrock, WY area. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety, initiative, and experience in a heavy commercial and industrial environment. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team and will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determine best work procedures, tools, and equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit; weld support; install cable and duct banks; make terminations.
  • Assess and start up systems and ensure continuity of circuit to maintain electrical compatibility and safety.
  • Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
  • Pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment as required.
  • Work with high and low voltage systems.
Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of industrial experience. Successful apprenticeship is required.
  • Seeking WY state electrical licensing in good standing or reciprocal journeyman licensing from AK, AR, CO, , MA, MN, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT and IA.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with data center systems, transfer schemes, switch gear, controllers, and pneumatic/electrical process controls.
  • Proficient reading blueprints, one-line diagrams, risers, and electrical schematics.
  • Skilled with conduit bending tools, cable tray layout, device trim, and load bank operations.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills; able to work independently as required.
  • Must be 18+ and able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Outside most of the time.
  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
  • Limited working surfaces.
  • Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
  • Exposure to areas with limited visibility.

    Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
  • Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
  • If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability are required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
