Pacifi Corp seeks an Equipment Serviceman Journeyman to maintain, troubleshoot and repair utility equipment supporting safe, reliable electric service. In this field-based role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in power generation and distribution. You'll diagnose faults, interpret technical drawings, document work in maintenance systems and comply with strict safety and regulatory standards.
Working within a collaborative, safety-focused team, you'll support grid reliability, renewable integration and long-term infrastructure investments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair utility and power generation equipment in the field and plant environments.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures using test equipment, technical documentation and root cause analysis methods.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, manuals and work orders.
- Document maintenance activities accurately in computerized maintenance management systems.
- Follow all Pacifi
- Corp and regulatory safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE use.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering and dispatch to schedule and complete maintenance with minimal service interruption.
- Respond to equipment emergencies and outages, including possible after-hours and on-call assignments.
- Support grid reliability, renewable integration and infrastructure upgrades through high-quality maintenance work.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain journeyman-level competency and stay current with utility standards.
