Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 hourly (Salary may be negotiable based on experience)
SummaryThe Structural House Builder is responsible for installing building parts on natural gas and oil production equipment in a safe, timely, and efficient manner using bills of material and blueprints. The role inspects materials and parts for deficiencies, ensures corrections before installation, and completes assembly with precision. A successful candidate is detail‑oriented, a multitasker, and handles assignments efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities- Use hand, air, and power tools safely and properly.
- Identify and inspect all parts for defects to maintain quality.
- Assemble Better Panel metal building parts.
- Identify and document parts and components accurately.
- Perform inspections to ensure equipment meets quality standards, functions correctly, and does not leak, and verify correct installation of all parts.
- Correct any deficiencies as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desired
Experience:
- Comfortable working from heights; experience with scissor lift man‑basket is a plus.
- Welding experience is a plus but not required.
- One to three years of related work experience and/or training – the right individual will be trained.
- Experience with hand, air, and power tools such as band saw and circular saw.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Basic math skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, climb ladders, and perform physical labor (with or without a reasonable accommodation).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and exert moderate to heavy physical effort with a minimum lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds (with or without a reasonable accommodation).
- Stand for extended periods, up to the entire shift.
- Exert moderate to heavy effort with lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong range of motion; ability to sit, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend.
- Ability to see, speak, hear, and read, and to use fingers and hands to manipulate tools and small parts.
- Walk on even and uneven surfaces; work in both hot and cold temperatures.
- Wear all required PPE and access all areas of the plant and grounds.
- Work in tight quarters and maintain close vision, depth perception, and focus on small details.
