Class A CDL Equipment Operator​/Field Technician

Clean Harbors in Casper, WY is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator / Field Technician to operate heavy and light duty trucks and equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. The role involves driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

• Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs.
• Place placards on vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Observe all corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week, when required.
• Perform site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials, when required.

• Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Perform physical functions required by the job.
• Successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical.
• Meet facial hair standards for respirator use as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard 29 CFR 1910.34.
• Commercial driver experience (preferred).
• Previous Hazmat experience (preferred).
• Previous manual labor experience (preferred).
