Job Description
The Hot Shot Driver works within a team at all hours and maintains professionalism at all times. The Hot Shot Driver is responsible for performing minor mechanical work as well as picking up and delivering generators to oilfield locations. Must be reliable, prompt, and able to navigate.
Essential Duties- Transports, loads, secures, and unloads generators on and off customer sites.
- Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
- Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods to ensure timely service.
- Maintains contact with dispatcher to receive instructions for scheduled delivery or pickup.
- Assists generator Tech in the set up and maintenance of generators as needed.
- Responsible for vehicle inspection, cleaning, maintenance, job safety analysis, and vehicle safety checks.
- Must have a "satisfactory" driving record according to company statutes.
- Maintains DOT regulations.
- Must be available for on‑call work a week out of the month.
- Performs all duties as assigned.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1‑3 years of driving experience. Must be 21+ years of age.
Preferred:
Mechanical experience. Honorably discharged service veterans preferred.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers. Commercial Driver License (CDL) – Class
A.

Job Requirements
- Willing to consent to and pass a background check and drug screening.
- Required to carry a cell phone and be available to respond during working and non‑working hours.
