Clean Harbors in Casper, WY is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator / Field Technician to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites (vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, roll offs). This role involves driving and non‑driving duties for hazardous waste clean‑up.
This is our newest Field Service location in the region. The role will be traveling initially as we build a book of business. All new hires attend a two‑week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered and the training is paid.

- Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps)
- Operate a variety of Class A trucks
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs
- Proper placarding of vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements and regulations
- Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and various reports
- Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements
- Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
- By position, have the ability to be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week
- By position, conduct site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials
- Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
- Ability to use various mobile devices
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
- Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators must meet facial hair standards
- Commercial driver experience
- Previous Hazmat experience
- Previous manual labor experience
