Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex service features; covers all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions; performs other duties as assigned.
Monday‑Friday 07:15‑18:30. Hours vary due to operational needs. Travel when needed to Wyoming locations.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma/GED.
Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials, as required by FMCSA guidance.
- Neat appearance required because of customer contact.
- Must meet and maintain qualifications per federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Requires a medical exam under FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license for the vehicle type assigned and have a good driving record per policy.
- Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Starting pay is $22.30 per hour, non‑negotiable. You may cover a route at any Wyoming location for a week;
Fed Ex will pay for hotel stay and food while you are out of town.
22.30 – 33.84 per hour.
Additional DetailsDelivery traveling swing driver. Routine travel a week at a time to any location in Wyoming to cover a route.
