We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Delivery Driver. This dual-role position is responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, as well as safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products. - Warehouse Operations:
Accurately count, sort, and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse. - Warehouse Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. - Warehouse Operations:
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for delivery or shipment. - Warehouse Operations:
Perform regular inventory checks and assist with inventory management. - Warehouse Operations:
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently (if applicable, specify certification requirements). - Warehouse Operations:
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. - Delivery Driving:
Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle (e.g., box truck, van) for local and regional deliveries. - Delivery Driving:
Load and unload products onto and off the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage. - Delivery Driving:
Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines. - Delivery Driving:
Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries. - Delivery Driving:
Obtain necessary signatures and complete delivery documentation accurately. - Delivery Driving:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. - Delivery Driving:
Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required depending on vehicle size - specify if needed).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse associate is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (e.g., 50+ pounds).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and delivery tracking (if applicable).
- Knowledge of local delivery routes and traffic patterns.
- Forklift certification (if required and not provided by company).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity required.
