Operations Manager, Supply Chain / Intl. Trade, Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork.
- Assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
- Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type; inform management of inventory and supply shortages; assist in periodic inventory counts.
- Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, and segregate defective product from normal inventory flow.
- Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
- Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
- Load and unload delivery trucks – lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds; handle tires (rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than 50 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license if required.
- Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial/housekeeping tasks such as cleaning the parking lot, loading dock area, keeping floors clear of debris, maintaining bathrooms, and assisting in daily warehouse closing.

- Plans & Aligns – planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Policy & Procedures – monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures and ensuring their alignment with organizational strategies and work objectives.
- Production Quality – ensuring all production operations meet required quality outcomes.
- Self‑Development – actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged through both formal and informal development channels.
- Storage – ensuring optimum storage of warehouse, plant, equipment, materials and supplies.
- Verbal Communication – expressing ideas, requesting actions, formulating plans and policies by means of clear and effective verbal communication.
- High School or GED degree.
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Travel required:
5% of the time.
