Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and supporting schedules as the Staff Accountant
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities as the Staff Accountant
Reconcile vendor accounts and support accounts payable analysis as the Staff Accountant
Review and allocate expenses to appropriate general ledger accounts while maintaining an accurate chart of accounts as the Staff Accountant
Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and process improvement initiatives as the Staff Accountant

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

2+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
