How you make a differenceThe Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. Tasks include scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, handling correspondence, and serving as a liaison between departmental staff, management, and external stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities- Answer phones, type letters, file, sort and distribute mail for the department.
- Coordinate and maintain office operations, maintain files, order supplies, and support senior management to ensure efficient office functioning.
- Maintain and track records and files, including receiving and routing mail, publications, department messages, reports, and indicator boards, and schedule appointments.
- Operate computer systems with printers, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Process and submit management expense reports, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional college‑level courses preferred.
- One (1) year of clerical experience as a secretary or administrative assistant. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
