Secretary to Assistant Principal
Responsible for providing clerical and secretarial support to the administrator. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
EssentialPhysical Requirements
- Occasional lifting five (5) to twenty (20) pounds
- Frequent sitting, standing
- Occasional bending, squatting, reaching, stooping
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- May manage daily substitute teacher activities and records teacher absences.
- May assign student lockers and processes student I.D. cards.
- May schedule events on master calendar regarding athletic events and activities and providing information to various personnel and community.
- Provide clerical support to the assistant principal and administrative assistant.
- Provide information through daily bulletin and other means to staff, students and others.
- Respond to telephone calls, route calls, take messages and assist staff, parents and community with concerns and questions.

- Approx Scheduled Days Per Year: 205 Work Days (260 days indicates a year‑round position. Time off or Off‑Track Days are then granted based on the position. Any exceptions to the normal off‑track time will be noted in the Additional Position Details section above, as scheduled work days.)
- Minimum Hire Rate: $18.93 USD Hourly
- Maximum Hire Rate: $24.13 USD Hourly
- Full Salary Range: $18.93 USD - $29.33 USD Hourly (All salary amounts listed above are based on a full‑time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part‑time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.)
