Paint Sales & Operations Manager

Location: Castle Rock, Colorado Status: Full-time, Exempt Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually + commission and incentives Reports to: GM

About Us

Moore Lumber & Hardware is seeking an experienced Paint Sales & Operations Manager to lead and grow our commercial and retail paint division. This role combines sales leadership, team management, and operational oversight with a strong focus on customer relationships and revenue growth.

• Lead day-to-day operations of the paint department, including sales consultants and delivery drivers
• Drive sales growth by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
• Meet or exceed sales goals through effective sales strategies and customer engagement
• Manage scheduling, deliveries, inventory, and labor planning
• Maintain accurate records of leads, accounts, and sales activity
• Collaborate with marketing to support promotions and brand growth
• Serve as a technical paint resource or coordinate manufacturer support
• Stay current on products, competitors, and industry trends
• Promote safety, quality, and housekeeping standards at all times

• 10+ years in the paint & coatings industry
• Contractor and retail management experience required
• Proven sales leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of paint products, logistics, and inventory control
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and job-site safety requirements
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Comfortable with industry technology and software
