We are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager Assistant to join our team!
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Project Manager and other project team members daily
- Coordinate job start-up activities
- Support Project Managers with schedules and budgets
- Set up new jobs and import them into Spectrum and Heavy Job
- Assist in the coordination of construction activities
- Create Purchase Orders and Subcontracts from the bids
- Prepare job books for PM & Superintendents
- Participate in Precon/Prebids meetings (internal and external)
- Pre-Job video of the Job site
- Attend weekly onsite meetings & prepare meeting agendas (when necessary)
- Coordinate permit applications, plan submissions, and permit renewals
- Take-offs (small ones)
- Keep Heavy Job software updated
- Track all extra work tickets
- Update plan sets with amendments and distribute printed copies to the field
- Maintain office folders, job lists, and electronic plans and contract files
- Prepare and manage project submittals
- Any other requests from the PMs
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion to learn
- Good organization skills and follow-through
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED. - Experience:
Experience with Heavy Bid and Heavy Job preferred. A minimum two years’ experience in the Heavy Civil construction industry.
