We are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager Assistant to join our team!

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and other project team members daily
  • Coordinate job start-up activities
  • Support Project Managers with schedules and budgets
  • Set up new jobs and import them into Spectrum and Heavy Job
  • Assist in the coordination of construction activities
  • Create Purchase Orders and Subcontracts from the bids
  • Prepare job books for PM & Superintendents
  • Participate in Precon/Prebids meetings (internal and external)
  • Pre-Job video of the Job site
  • Attend weekly onsite meetings & prepare meeting agendas (when necessary)
  • Coordinate permit applications, plan submissions, and permit renewals
  • Take-offs (small ones)
  • Keep Heavy Job software updated
  • Track all extra work tickets
  • Update plan sets with amendments and distribute printed copies to the field
  • Maintain office folders, job lists, and electronic plans and contract files
  • Prepare and manage project submittals
  • Any other requests from the PMs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion to learn
  • Good organization skills and follow-through
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience
  • Education:

    Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience:

    Experience with Heavy Bid and Heavy Job preferred. A minimum two years’ experience in the Heavy Civil construction industry.
