Job Summary

Our client, a leading civil construction organization, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team and support heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and strategic thinking.

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Castle Rock, CO

Pay Range: $150,000 - $185,000

Responsibilities
  • Provide executive-level oversight and leadership for a portfolio of heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Establish and drive project execution strategies that align with company objectives, client expectations, and profitability targets.
  • Lead the development and implementation of project schedules, staffing plans, procurement strategies, and resource allocation across multiple projects.
  • Oversee project performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial results.
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with owners, consultants, municipalities, developers, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Civil and/or Heavy Highway Construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy civil construction operations, including earthwork, utilities, grading, and roadway construction.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio and project management, including oversight of multiple projects and Project Managers.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability tracking.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
