We are looking for someone who is willing to work part‑time (10‑15 hours per week) as an Office Manager, with the possibility of additional hours as a Substitute Teacher and/or Mentor.

Office Manager Role
  • Represent the Goddard School Leadership Team professionally, consistently, and positively while greeting and supporting families of enrolled students.
  • Organize and manage office files, student files, family files, deadlines, documents, etc.
  • Oversee and manage school snacks including planning a healthy and diverse menu, staying within budget, ordering, and inventory.
  • Plan events such as Egg Hunt, Teacher Appreciation Week, Picture Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Pre‑K Graduation, Holiday Program, Fall Festival, Scholastic Book Fairs, and more!
  • Plan all summer activities and manage the summer activities budget:
    Magic Rob, Soccer Shots, Splash Day, Bike Day, Butterfly Pavilion, and more!
  • Manage inventory of office and school supplies, order weekly, and develop and maintain monthly budgets for classroom and school supply orders.
  • Marketing/Advertising – report to owner for implementing local advertising, including weekly posting to social media (Facebook, Instagram, potential expansion to Tik Tok).
  • Oversee child transitions, including planning with teachers, communicating with parents, and coordinating logistics in Goddard’s student management system.
Required Skills or Attributes
  • Leader in early childhood education who feels comfortable coaching and mentoring teachers.
  • Willing to work 10‑15 regularly scheduled hours per week in the Office Manager role, including closing shift (until 6 pm) on 2 nights per week. (Additional substitute teaching or teacher support acceptable.)
  • Willing to trade or cover shifts with directors as needed to support the Leadership Team’s vacation coverage.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while remaining calm and professional.
  • Consistently positive attitude, demonstrates professionalism and collaboration with colleagues, and communicates effectively with families.
  • Adopts and honors Goddard School’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous childcare teacher experience (preferably at least 3 + years) and willingness to work in the classroom as a teacher occasionally.
  • Level II or higher in Colorado Shines, and willingness to obtain at least Level III (or official Director Qualification) within 90 days of employment.
  • Meets background check eligibility (FBI, CBI, Child Abuse & Neglect).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or official Directors certificate.
  • Experience in marketing/advertising, especially posting professionally to social media.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Experience teaching various age groups (infants, toddlers, preschool, pre‑K).
