General Job Summary
In this 1:1 medical support role, you'll provide direct care and ongoing health monitoring to two medically intensive high-school students. Responsibilities include diapering, G-tube feedings, seizure support, and frequent scheduled checks (including one student who must be checked every 20 minutes).
Medical experience is required.

• Provide medically focused 1:1 (and small-group) paraprofessional support to students throughout the school day.
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting/diapering, hygiene, and related personal care needs.
• Assist with and/or support G-tube feedings and other required medical routines as directed by the student care plan.
• Monitor for and respond appropriately to seizure activity and other urgent health concerns; follow school emergency protocols.
• Complete required scheduled health checks (including every-20-minute checks for one student) and document observations.
• Collaborate with the school team (nurse/clinical staff, special education team) to ensure student safety and access to learning.

• Required: Prior medical or medically related student-care experience (school, pediatric, clinical, or comparable setting).
• Comfort and demonstrated ability with toileting/diapering and personal care support.
• Experience supporting individuals with seizures and medically complex needs (or directly related transferrable experience).
• Experience with feeding support and/or medical equipment (G-tube experience strongly preferred).
• Reliable, attentive, and able to maintain high-frequency monitoring and accurate documentation in a school environment.
